KFA, a division of the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, the nation's leading allergy and asthma charity, is dedicated to keeping 6 million U.S. children with food allergies safe and healthy through education, support, outreach, advocacy.
Brenda Elliott's insight:

Kids with Food allergies- free  1 HOUR education webinar...this gives key findings of a groundbreaking study, and has very good information on how adults,  parents AND  kids think, feel & behave with a severe allergy.

Scary fact:  only 22% carry EPI-pen, 52 % had at least 2-5 epidsodes of anaphlaxis but did NOT carry or even have epi-pen perscribed.

only 1/3rd plan to use their epi-pen...

Benadryl can never save a life.  If you have history of bad reactions, do not hesitate to immediately give epi-pen along WITH benadryl.

MOST reactions occur at HOME, only 2.9% reacted in a school.
