Library Grits: Making the Invisible Visible

Library Grits: Making the Invisible Visible | Learning Commons & Maker Spaces | Scoop.it

"Inspired by Katie Day, Barb Reid and Nadine Bailey's presentation at the School Librarian Connection last November, our library team put our thinking hats on to make our invisible ebook collection more visible to the students to boost awareness and reading of these resources." ~Dianne McKenzie

Linda Dougherty's insight:

Ebooks - Just can't get my teens to check them out! Love this idea of re-cycling DVD cases into ebook marketing. How about making your high school ELA teachers who specifically have a classroom library a set of ebook mock books for their library book baskets? You could even cycle the collection among the different teachers.
