Many thanks to librarians from around the world who have volunteered to create posters in SL regarding their information literacy (IL) programs. Thanks, too, to Abby Zenith on behalf of the Community Virtual Library (CVL), as well as Adra Letov (University of Hawaii) and Artemis Jacks (Stanford University Library) for kindly agreeing to provide space for these posters on their islands. Anyone interested may visit the posters at the locations listed below. With the permission of those who created them, the posters will remain at these locations until the end of May 2012.
Student teams: Please visit each of the posters by clicking on the landmarks (LMs) below. Learn about each poster's IL programs, and then select 2 posters for your assignment. As a reminder, each team will have 15-30 min. to prepare a 5-min. text chat or voice chat presentation on the 2 posters you have selected. Your presentation should briefly describe the programs and answer two questions: What did you like? and How would you do it differently?
