This list illustrates the importance of marketing and communication. I would like to compare this list of accomplishments to a similar list produced by a more conservative-leaning journal to explore different valuing of each accomplishment. It is also a complex example of the importance of perspective in that some accomplishments may be perceived differently. Leaders work hard to accomplish goals some stakeholders won't value. Sometimes, this lack of value results from a weakness in the leader's skills at getting the message out; sometimes, it is a weakness in the stakeholders that the leader did not recognize and accommodate; sometimes, it is an issue of culture; sometimes, there are those who simply don't care or want to know.
