Manufacturing Makerspaces | American Libraries Magazine | School and Library News for LPG | Scoop.it

Fundamentally, makerspaces are a technological leap past library knitting and quilting circles, where patrons and experts have often come together to learn new techniques and train others in a skill. Federal funding is being made available to support the development of open architecture that allows for uniform standards in what information is stored/displayed on a badge.
