What Rescues Do Not Tell You: Omission of Information | Earth Island Institute Philippines | Scoop.it

What #whale and #dolphin Rescues Do Not Tell You: Omission of Information.

The omission of information is a serious problem that plagues stranding field. While it is not entirely clear whether it happens intentionally or out of ignorance, the result is all the same, namely the public is not given all information available. It is also important for stranded animals’ well-being because infinite perpetuation of false beliefs and untested assumptions hampers their chances of survival.
