“It certainly looks that way. You know Putin told the world at the U.N. meeting, ‘We can no longer tolerate the state of affairs in the world.’ So he told the United States, Europe, and the other puppet states such as Canada, Australia, and Japan that Russia will no longer tolerate this. And two days later they (the Russians) have taken over the situation in Syria.
Essentially the United States is responsible. This (warring force) is the group that came out of the forces we created in Libya to overthrow Gaddafi. And when Russia blocked the intended U.S. invasion of Syria, Obama sent these people to Syria and pretended they were a free Syrian army of oppressed Syrians who were fighting to liberate their country from a dictator who used chemical weapons against his own people.
But the United States lost control of them, even though Washington’s clandestine operations still seem to supply them. So basically the Russians have said they can’t tolerate complete and total chaos in the Middle East and it’s going to stop before it engulfs Syria…
By way of excuse for what President Obama called "a tragic incident," (and The UN called a 'war crime') US officials have claimed that the Taliban were fighting from within the Kabul hospital (which was destroyed by a US air strike yesterday killing at least 19 including 3 children) using aid workers as "a human shield." However, this justification for the 'collateral damage' has been vehemently denied by Medecins Sans Frontier (MSF) who have issued a statement dismissing the US claims, "the gates of the hospital compound were closed all night so no one that is not staff, a patient or a caretaker was inside the hospital when the bombing happened..." but, the US strike has done one thing, as one local health official concluded, "this city is no longer for the living."
In a statement, President Barack Obama offered condolences to the victims of what he called "the tragic incident" where as we detailed previously, the aid group MSF has said an air strike, probably carried out by U.S.-led coalition forces, killed 19 staff and patients on Saturday in a hospital it runs in Kunduz, leaving 37 wounded. The 'reason' offered by US officials, as Reuters reports,
“We can no longer tolerate the state of affairs in the world.” President Vladimir Putin
Last Wednesday (28 Sept 2015) the world saw the difference between Russia and Washington. Putin’s approach is truth-based; Obama’s is vain boasts and lies, and Obama is running out of lies.
By telling the truth at a time of universal deceit, Putin committed a revolutionary act. Referring to the slaughter, destruction, and chaos that Washington has brought to the Middle East, North Africa, and Ukraine, and the extreme jihadist forces that have been unleashed, Putin asked Washington: “Do you realize what you have done?”
Putin’s question reminds me of the question Joseph Welch asked witch-hunting Senator Joseph McCarthy: “Have you no sense of decency?” Welch’s question is attributed with initiating the decline of McCarthy’s career.
Perhaps Putin’s question will have the same impact and bring the reign of “American Exceptionalism” to an end.
If so, Putin has launched a revolution that will overthrow the world’s subservience to Washington.
A hospital in the Afghan city of Kunduz was hit in an overnight aerial attack that killed at least 19 people, including nine Medecins Sans Frontieres staff and three children. The US has confirmed that it conducted an airstrike “in the vicinity” of the hospital.
Russia has conducted its first airstrike against ISIL militants in Syria. The Russian Ministry of Defense says the operation took place in the Arab republic’s third largest city of Homs, which is a central link between the interior cities and the Mediterranean coast.
With Russia being invited by the Syrian government to step up in assisting countering and defeating Britain, France and the USA's deaths squads in the country, with this relative upsurge in the defence of Syria that has been resisting a combined global imperialist attack against it for over 4 years, we hear those who echo the leading Nato powers in claiming Russia is an 'imperialist' country, or "Russian militarism" to quote a well known english left leader at the moment. It is not anything of the sort. Here I attempt to lay out why it is not, and why the western, actually imperialist or neocolonial left, seek to state that it is:
Colonialism, empires, and 'imperialism' is an ancient phenomenon, whose common nature includes the acquisition of lands beyond the original state, this acquisition is done through violence, but the degree of violence and state craft depends from incident to incident, and varies according to each empire and its historical moment(s). Nearly every region of the world has seen such empires for millennium. That's not to justify them at all, its just a fact. On an ethical level of judgement, I oppose all empires and colonialism, none of them should be a model for us today, and historically especially in the modern world many of our peoples have to overcome the legacies of these empires made much worse by the colonial experience which tended to (and continues) to champion and celebrate them but distorts them into a mirror reflection of european colonialism, and then encourages us to internalise them and then project that onto ourselves and others.

ISIL and its supporters from the US-aligned Middle Eastern regimes are just another tool in Wall Street's toolbox: the Islamic State fighters may falsely believe that they are Muslims, but those who fund and direct them worship no other God than money, New York-based political analyst Caleb Maupin notes.
[…] Make no mistake, this is shaping up to be the most spectacular US foreign policy debacle since Vietnam – and we don’t think that’s an exaggeration.
The US, in conjunction with Saudi Arabia and Qatar, attempted to train and support Sunni extremists to overthrow the Assad regime. Some of those Sunni extremists ended up going crazy and declaring a Medieval caliphate putting the Pentagon and Langley in the hilarious position of being forced to classify al-Qaeda as “moderate.” The situation spun out of control leading to hundreds of thousands of civilian deaths and when Washington finally decided to try and find real “moderates” to help contain the Frankenstein monster the CIA had created in ISIS (there were of course numerous other CIA efforts to arm and train anti-Assad fighters, see below for the fate of the most “successful” of tho
Western countries are willing to grant asylum to Syrian refugees, but are still unwilling to stop adding fuel to the fire of the Syrian civil war, Greece-based independent humanitarian journalist Fragkiska Megaloudi notes.
What happens when those allies you held closest to you turn out to be working towards your demise? Worse still, what if those truths you held as certainties were no more than a web of lies weaved by politicians to sell you on their wars?
Just hours after the incredible speech delivered by Russian President Putin at the United Nations General Assembly, the US has quietly announced that it will be suspending its program of training allegedly ‘moderate’ rebels in Syria to fight against the Assad regime.
Colonel Steve Warren told Foreign Policy that US forces were now looking to ‘re-evaluate’ their efforts, which the news outlet calls a ‘humiliating setback‘.
While the US will continue to support those rebels it has already trained and deployed, it will no longer deploy new fighters.
