Chris Bennett's insight:

A boss I once had, more brilliant that I was, often said we're too busy and have "no time to think."  I took his comment to heart, would shut my office door from distractions, and just think.  Note: I wouldn't sit at my computer, for that would prevent me from thinking.  His advice worked, and by doing less I was able to be more effective.

I couldn't agree more with this article's content!  As a matter of fact, there are some tenets here that I have always touted in my circles of influence, like, "work smarter, not harder," and "stop doing everything yourself and start letting people help you" (i.e. delegate and empower more), and have "do-nothing time" (i.e. get a hobby so you can 'get a life' outside your work).

Air Force - Navy Half Marathon, Sept 14th

Chris Bennett's insight:

Looking forward to the next race!  A half marathon through the streets of DC, and my daughter Katie Reed running the 5-miler as well.  Can't wait to see her smiling face at the finish.
