This youtube clip from Providence eLearning provides a collection of poetry from the Romantic period, as William Lasseter breaks down the time period by focusing on the works of Wordsworth, Keats, Shelley, and Byron. It explains that in order to understand the romantic movement we have to look at the history that surrounds the period of time. It helps us to grasp the movement as a whole, incorporating the artists, poets and thinkers of the 19th century. It reveals, for example, that the poets of the augustan age, and the form and structure that they employed, is what the romantic poets tried to replicate in their own works.
