Overall, 2013 is shaping up as a "more of the same" year, with only modest technical improvements and just the usual sales and promotions.

A part of road tripping could very possibly be by rail. Not much progress to be expected in 2013 but much ahead in 2014 and 2015.

I really wanted to do a rail trip but the rails are in such bad shape there are a lot of places you can't actually go without getting off and taking a bus to avoid the broken sections. Sad, isn't it?
