Early Civilization in the Indus Valley
Egypt and Mesopotamia are not the oldest civilizations, and there is proof, according to this article. There has been a discovery under mounds of dirt and land. That discovery is remains of a 4,600 year old city. This article relates to my class because we discussed the Indus civilization.

In class we talked about ziggurats being built in Ancient Near East. It makes wonder how they built these ziggurats. They didn't have access to that great of tools. Also they didn't have technology to move these materials to be able to construct.

Here is a scoop of the different ancient discoveries of the Indus River Valley Civilization. One interesting discovery was sixteen tablets that were discovered in 1995-1998. There are sixteen three sided tablets found behind a curtain of rock.
This article is really awesome because there are so many illustrated pictures of discoveries found on the Indus River Civilization. I think this article is very helpful because The Indus People didn't write as much as we do and objects that are found are helping shape the history. Overall this article is a great search tool.
