Matthew Poe:  "The true crime podcast has become an addiction for millions of listeners -- and the reasons why might be useful for any storyteller."

DRC:  "You might also be interested in reading Mashable's 12 podcasts that will tell uou a fantastic story."

Dominique Taste's curator insight, December 2, 2014 1:45 PM

Rob Manuel:  "Guillermo del Toro surprised gamers this week [August 16] by revealing that his newest project will be a "Silent Hill" sequel. But there's no guarantee that that the same skills needed to direct a film apply to video game design."

Henrik Safegaard - Cloneartist's curator insight, August 26, 2014 5:06 AM

Believe it or not, the biggest gaming event in the world happened this week. But San Francisco didn't see any more traffic than usual and New York barely saw an extra gamer enter the city -- no, the biggest event in the world was in GamesCom in Germany.

Charlie Dare's curator insight, May 2, 2014 1:03 AM

Variety:  "As Netflix and Amazon bulk up on original entertainment, they’re largely focused on buying TV series, which perform better on their services than movies do. The result is that indie moviemakers are starting to think more about crafting, episodic TV-like projects for play on digital screens."

Alberto Gago's curator insight, May 2, 2014 2:16 AM

"Ryan Lewis, the producer and co-creator of the Crackle original thriller series "Chosen" starring Milo Ventimiglia, explains how they made a lean action drama for a digital world more used to comedy and short form."

Henrik Safegaard - Cloneartist's curator insight, December 17, 2013 4:33 AM

Ryan Lewis is one of the co-creators and producers of "Chosen," an original series starring Milo Ventimiglia that airs exclusively in the U.S. on the streaming site Crackle. The show, which is written and directed by Ben Ketai, is a rarity in the digital space outside of Netflix, where comedy and short form still rule the day. "Chosen" is an action series made up of six half-hour episodes that take place at a breakneck pace, with Ventimiglia's character plunged into a mysterious kill-or-be-killed game.

Het promoten van 'kleine', onafhankelijk geproduceerde films is vaak moeilijk. Hier een schets van een andere weg naar een groter publiek. Productie en promotie van films kunnen door internet en IP tv sowieso niet meer op de oude manier.

OK  a  personal moment of levity.  Ha ha ha ha hee hee. You know i tried to reach Jaunt after they put out an open invitation for anyone with experience to call them. They did not even have the courtesyto respond!

Much like Mr Einstein and Tesla  i am man who wants to share his experience and knowledge  but it seems they are all locked up in their own little world and think that IP should remain 100 percent theirs.  There is not one part of what they have attempted to do original! They are  stumbling along a road that many others conquered long ago. They may be motivated, inspired, possibly passionate. STUDIO  Execs of LA  if you invest in these folks you are  investing in hard development and  it will still take them years to figure it out unless they just copy the proposed solutions i put forth over the years. OR you could hire me. However i think with my hard critique they will take it personally and not respond anyway!

I do like having a blog it allows me to vent my frustrations :-)
