This website is very valuable to use in helping children understand the Revolutionary War. The content contains fast facts about the Revolutionary War as well as numerous sites that link children to other information that pertains to the Revolutionary War. I will use this to further student engagement and to allow them to work independently to come up with other things that we didn't discuss with the class.

This is a valuable video to show to students who are studying the Revolutionary War. It is a great use of visuals and audio to briefly explain the events leading up to the Revolutionary War. Students 3rd grade and up will love this video because it is pretty kid friendly. I will show this to my students before we start learning about the Revolutionary War.

This is a wonderful timeline that kids in 4th or 5th grade will love. This website highlights the significant events leads up to the Revolutionary War and also the battles during the war. This timeline also highlights the events at the end of the war. I will use this website and timeline as a way to help my students see each event in a short and concise way.

These are excellent notes to your future self when you forget why you bookmarked something! If you build a scoop-it page for your students, you can use these insights/comments to guide your students through the resource. Just an option or different way of using this feature!

The contents of this website even give detailed information such as weapons used, and total number of soldiers in each army and so on. I would use this site as a resources for students to extend their learning as they create a PowerPoint about the Revolutionary War. Yes, important dates are included as well which make this website even more valuable

The War for Independence, 1775-1783 - YouTube

This Youtube video is great to share with 4th or 5th graders to teach them about independence from the British. This video also includes a short quiz at the end to check students' understanding. I will use this video to introduce students to the the War of Independence.
