I know that it gets super confusing when you hear about all ofthe different types of resumes.

This article very nicely breaks down some of the different types and the social media platforms where and how to use them.

I especially agree with the advice in this article that the old one-page resume rule is outdated!

My advice:  first decide what industry and job you are interested in and then customize your resume to target and highlight the experience, skills, and competencies you have that fit with the position.

Remember, the job of your resume is land you the interview.  So your resume has to effectively set you apart from the other candidates, and also demonstrate how you are the right fit for the position and company.

Make it a great day!
