Given the unprecedented quantity of information learners are exposed to, the librarian’s role is more important than ever. Librarians help all students gain access to, evaluate, ethically use, create, share, and synthesize information.
My end-caps were extremely vanilla, with just the Dewey numbers. After attending a webinar on how to use PowerPoint to make signs, etc., I did a quick and easy sign with the subjects students will find on each shelf. Works better than a Wordle, because I could control where the words appeared. (The sign is straight on the endcap, just crooked in my photo!)

I've spent weeks testing various tools and trying to figure out an easy way for non-Designers to create Infographics. Finally, yesterday I've stumbled upon a cool little app called Pixelmator that was the answer to my prayers.
