KM Cyberary - a gateway to Knowledge Resources

http://kmcyberary.web.officelive.com

KM Cyberary - a gateway to Knowledge Resources started in 2002. The main objective of the KM Cyberary project was to provide a unique platform for all types of users to reach their information. This is an accumulation of e-resources, which give links to various useful e-resources viz. Knowledge Management, Librarianship, Philosophy, Health, Technology, ITES/BPO/KPO/RPO, ITIL, Call Centres, Business Information and other subjects.

I hope this gateway may be of some help for users who are in search of information

Article on this Project is published as a Chapter in an Encyclopedia:

[Bhojaraju G (2006a)]. KM Cyberary - a gateway to Knowledge Resources. Encyclopedia of Portal Technology and Applications,Tatnall, A (Ed). (pp. ). USA: Idea Group Reference.

Knowledge management (KM) aspects has prominent role in corporate sectors since many years. But there is an opportunity in higher education sector i.e. in academia especially to adapt the strategy in
libraries to manage intellectual or scholarly assets of an organisation. This book is intended for library professionals, knowledge managers, students and other communities planning to implement the knowledge
management aspects in libraries. As knowledge management has its prominent role in the corporate sector but the process and strategy can be easily adopted in the academic libraries as well i.e in higher
education sectors. As academia generates a huge intellectual assets through scholarly publishing, such assets needs to be properly acquired, organised, stored and made accessible in a easily manner including long term preservation for the future generations. This requires a careful consideration and adoption of knowledge management strategy, process, people and technology aspects. This book provide an insight to its readers in this direction.

The Semantic Web is Hugely Important to Tomorrow's Business - Here's Why | Research Trends in Knowledge Organisation Systems | Scoop.it
The "semantic Web" is hugely important to tomorrow's business. Do not underestimate its significance: It truly changes everything. Embrace it, or risk extinction. But what is it? And what does it mean for your business?

Generally the requirement or not of providing electronic copies or making theses open access is an institutional decision. But in a possible indication of the increased momentum towards open access around the world, Japan has recently introduced a country-wide mandate.
