The AASL Status of Staffing of School Libraries Task Force has been asked to collect data related to current school library staffing levels and school librarian roles/responsibilities.

If you are working as a teacher librarian in a school in the USA, please contribute to this survey. The task force needs to collect data from each individual school library program. It's a really brief survey, so no excuses for not contributing your school's data!!

Remember: Building evidence of school library impact is dependent upon individual TL practitioners, not the researchers collecting the data!!!

This peer-reviewed journal article presents results and recommendations of a research project on the implementation of the 'Portuguese School Libraries Evaluation Model'. This could be used by individual primary teacher librarians or TL network teams to evaluate  their libraries’ reading promotion and information literacy programs.
