This is just the article I've been looking for. It reasurring to see that Scoop.it was built on a technical foundation that promotes ethical use of digital information.

I've used Scoop.it from the beginning with the understanding that curation can be "...a win-win-win deal for readers, curators and – perhaps more importantly – publishers."

The ability to filter and select information and then share it efficiently with Scoop.it technology is truly, "...a beautiful symbiosis between curators, readers and publishers."

PhotoMath & Reactions To It From Around The Web

PhotoMath & Reactions To It From Around The Web | Research Capacity-Building in Africa | Scoop.it
You may have already heard about PhotoMath, the new iPhone app that lets you point it at a math problem on a textbook and then solves it while showing all the work involved.

Some are immediately reacting by citing it’s potential use in “cheating,” while others cheer that it might force math teachers and textbook publishers to be more creative in how they teach math.

I think it is helpful when you are working at home to be able to solve a problem and make sure it is right. I hated finding out I had completed a page of problems all the wrong way.
