The mission of International Copper Association, Ltd. (ICA) is working on the defense and growth of copper based on its superior technical performance and its contribution to a higher quality of life worldwide. Working closely with government, educational institutions, associations and manufacturers, ICA in Latin America promote and defend copper use on the establishment of codes and standards for sustainable energy generation and energy efficiency. Furthermore, we are responsible for transferring knowledge in technical education institutions about copper application into energy segment.

ICA and the Copper Alliance® are responsible for guiding policy and strategy and for funding international initiatives and promotional activities. Headquartered in New York, the organization has offices in four primary regions: Asia, Europe and Africa, Latin America and North America. Copper Alliance® programs and initiatives are executed in nearly 60 countries through its regional offices and 26 copper promotion centers. The International Copper Association, Ltd. (ICA), its 43 members responsible for 60% of copper production worldwide. Current, 500 programs partners around the world contributes into the development and implementation of ICA’s programs.
