I've been rediscovering the City after being away for decades.   My grandfather moved here from Nagano, Japan in 1893 and watched the City burn in the 1906 earthquake, so we're the one of the oldest Japanese families in the City.  Our San Jose shop began in SF in 1903: www.nbstore.com

The Veronica Mars Movie Project by Rob Thomas surpassed target funding of $2m dollars with six hours to spare,and raised over $5m in the process.

 

Raising such money maybe great but will the backers want their money back if the project fails to deliver investment promise of a great film?
