About time. Having lived in Scotland for all of my 43 years, the deterioration on rights for workers seems to be inexorable within the UK. Sadly though if Scotland stays within the UK there is no main UK party offering anything of note to rectify the situation. Vote YES in 2014.

In a vote at Westminster to press ahead with amendments to the Growth and Infrastructure Bill, MPs  re-instated a clause on employee rights  dubbed the ‘’ shares for rights’’ clause .  Under the proposals employers can offer to swap some employment rights including those relating to redundancy - for as little as £2,000 of shares in the company.
