One of the great things about being a real estate agent and blogger is the opportunity to see other fantastic content. There are some really talented writers who publish great articles but don't always do what is necessary to promote it!
One of the things I enjoy most about being an avid real estate blogger is putting together posts that can showcase the talent of others. Some real estate agents publish fantastic content but don't do much to promote it.
This of course is a huge mistake as it is a very competitive environment online both in social media as well as search engines. If you are not making an effort to promote your content it will often times be invisible.
By putting together real estate round-ups in places like Huliq, I am able to highlight content that deserves it. This is certainly the case in this real estate compilation of 5 noteworthy posts.
There are a couple of articles that really hit home to me including the one that discusses the need to get a building permit when necessary. So many home owners do work to their properties without getting a permit. They think they are saving themselves some time and money when doing so but the exact opposite is the case.
When selling a home today buyers often will ask if a permit was pulled. When it's not it can kill a home sale. Most buyers will ask for it to be permitted which can be costly after the fact.
Xavier De Buck also checks in with a helpful article about the mistakes to avoid as a first time home buyer. Many buyers have no idea what they are doing and Xavier presents a road map to avoid the bumps in the road.
Take a look and if you enjoy any of the article please consider giving it a scoop!
