A collection of short videos showing a wide range of people reading their favorite poem. Be sure to listen to the poems chosen and read by young people. I especially like "The Sloth" "I'm Nobody, Who Are You?" "Casey at the Bat" and "The Lower Leaves of the Trees."
As part of a study of the Great Depression, students in this 5th grade class wrote poetry for two voices using authentic photos from the era as their starting point. The resulting poems were loaded on Voicethread. Well worth checking out.
