Warehouse Conversion in San Francisco

Warehouse Conversion in San Francisco | Raw and Real Interior Design | Scoop.it
Interior Design and Inspirational Homes Magazine - HomeDSGN, your daily source for interior design ideas, home design trends, modern homes and contemporary architecture.
ParadigmGallery's insight:

This 2,100 square-foot, one bedroom, two bath loft located in a publisher’s print shop built in 1910, was designed and is owned by well-known designer Steven Volpe.

This conversion brings together a sophisticated design approach with fun and modern details. There is a wonderful, full size kitchen and a charming outdoor space which brings the garden into the interior. Their are beautiful,  probably original aged beams throughout the home adding just a touch of a vintage vibe. The  strong elements of brick bring warmth and texture to the rooms. The light, clean and modern look of the floors, counterbalances the rustic elements as do the tall expanses of white walls. This is another example of an awesome, industrial, conversion.

Do you like this home, what in particular appeals to you?

Melbourne Built Abbotsford Warehouse Apartments

Melbourne Built Abbotsford Warehouse Apartments | Raw and Real Interior Design | Scoop.it
One of Melbourne’s great former industrial buildings has been beautified by ITN Architects to become a couple of posh three-story apartments in the Victoria area.
ParadigmGallery's insight:

"The space already had the great bones ...Old workbenches turned into a classically striking kitchen island, paired with new countertops and striking new elements. Minimalist efforts for new built elements such as the staircase really make a statement in the otherwise raw and slightly industrial spaces....Please leave comments.....
