Melbourne Home · John Parker | The Design Files | Raw and Real Interior Design | Scoop.it
ParadigmGallery's insight:

"John Parker has lived here for nearly 12 years, having originally purchased the warehouse as a shell (it was once an old army drill hall).  ’I left it as raw as I could’.....do read thedesignfiles.net story!

When you see the bathroom sink you will understand my instant affection for this home, I would love to track down a similar sink for a bathroom we are remodeling, but I digress....

The cactus and airplane in the living room add tremendous appeal as well. I think the thoughtful details of the odds and ends collected and arranged are also quite charming. This is one of those spaces that offers a creative idea in any direction you turn. A very comfortable home with a sense of humor.....
