FM Radio With Si4703 Breakout Board, LCD and Arduino

FM Radio With Si4703 Breakout Board, LCD and Arduino | Raspberry Pi | Scoop.it
This project is just a small part of a bigger project I have been working on for the past couple of years (on and off). The background to this project is that a couple years back, I found a modern jukebox (iPod connection, AM/FM radio, CD player...) which had been dumped across the road from my house. The body was in decent condition but almost all of the electronics were damaged or missing. The only parts I managed to salvage were the LEDs on the front panels of the body. So I decided that I was going to do up all of the internal electronics to get the jukebox back up and running. One part of this was to make an FM radio with a LCD and push buttons to control the frequency tuning. After some research, I came across this cool little breakout board that you could use with ...

Arduino based Moto racer playing robotic hand | Raspberry Pi | Scoop.it
In 21st century the field of robotics have emerged very quickly and continues to bringing new technological advances to many sectors of society. With the belief that it's only a matter of time before the robots rise and replace all humans. The robots are not only being used in automotive and medical industries for doing work but now it is also used for entertainment purpose such as games. This project is inspired from Kuka Robot one of the fastest robot on earth specialized in table tennis manufactured in Germany and flappy bird one of the game which was automated and played by image processing phenomena. In this project, the game “Racing Moto” one of the popular mobile app is automated by robotic hand.

LinkIt One Phone Home Device

LinkIt One Phone Home Device | Raspberry Pi | Scoop.it
We're attempting to use a MediaTek Linkit One as part of our Independent Maker Space Program project. The goal of the IMSP is to develop accessible methods for gathering and analyzing telemetry and data for use in amateur rocketry launch events. We've already tested the Freescale in an amateur rocket test launch, and this stage of the project involves launching a weather balloon with a data collection payload to high altitude with the intent of gathering as much data as possible about atmospheric conditions, as well as to test a number of different concepts, including redundancy of multiple processors, like Raspberry Pi, Freescale and LinkIt One, and Moteino (an Arduino based transceiver board). The LinkIt One is intended to be the GSM communicator system that transmits location data when the weather balloon payload lands after release from the balloon. The test is still in progress, as we've learned more about the different systems ...

Relay Module for Arduino

Relay Module for Arduino | Raspberry Pi | Scoop.it
I hope you all are familiar with relays (if not check this), in simple words these are kind of switches in which if we pass certain volts (according to relay's input voltage ratings) through coil terminals then NO and COM pins will get connected i.e. work as a closed switch through which we can connect higher volts current. 5 Volts relay need a 5V current through coil terminals to trigger, 12V needs 12V to trigger and same as for all others. MoreHow it can be used?..... Most basic example is that we can use a relay to control our house hold appliances(110-240V) through a microcontroller (like Arduino, which cannot handle such high voltage currents). As in case of Arduino which supplies a current of 5 volts through digital pins, a 5 volts relay is useful. You can put any one coil terminal to a digital pin of Arduino and other ...
