usb drive - Allow only specific devices to be connected to USB - Information Security Stack Exchange | Raspberry Pi | Scoop.it

Suppose I have a Windows PC in a safe room, disconnected from the internet, with only 3 cables connecting to another room, to a mouse, monitor and keyboard.
The computer contains highly sensitive data. The HDMI monitor cable is no problem, but the mouse and keyboard cables are USB cables, and could be connected to some USB drive. I am specifically interested here in securing the USB cables. Please disregard other ways of stealing information, like taking photos of the screen etc.

Programming ATmega328p with Arduino Uno - Stack Overflow

Programming ATmega328p with Arduino Uno - Stack Overflow | Raspberry Pi | Scoop.it
I'm new to Arduino, and spent a solid few hours last night attempting to program an ATmega328p with bootloader using Arduino as ISP, which I never got to work. Eventually I just took the existing chip out of the UNO, put in the other one and programmed it directly onboard the UNO and it worked fine first try. Which brings me to my question.
Why bother setting up an external circuit to program an ATmega328 instead of just placing it directly on the board?

Make Your Own Arduino Based Game Console: | Raspberry Pi | Scoop.it

Hello I am Jordy Weening and I started working on a home made gameduino as a school project. A gameduino is basically an arduino driven gameconsole. This does sound fancy but it really isn't. I made the most bulky console that will ever exist but please don't judge me. After all it was a very cool project to work on and you should definitely try it yourself because actually it is really easy and also very rewarding.

Actually it is a GPS portable unit so it can be mobile on just about any method of transportation but fat bikes traveling on wilderness snow routes here in Alaska seems to be fun use for it right now. But feel free to build one for car, snow machine, dogsled, or helicopter. My last project involved analog speedometer--https://www.instructables.com/id/Bike-Analog-Speedometer/ so I thought it would be a good project to build it into a mechanical moving map display.
