This project based on Arduino, it will measure time of one revolution of wheel, then divide wheel's lenght on this time, and it will be the speed. Revolutions of wheel will be measured by magnet and hall sensor. I used servo motor with arrow and scale to show the speed, it looks like "analog". Also I used 7 segment display to show distance (odometer), also arduino write odo in its EEPROM after bicycle is stopped, so odo keeps in Arduino and not clears after system reboot. You can watch all process of making this device IN THIS VIDEO
Want to know how strong a connection you have to your Wifi? With this instructable, you can create a nice looking wifi strength display that will show you just that.NO prior coding knowledge is requiredNO prior wiring/electronics knowledge is required (though it could prove useful)Some pictures of the final product are attached. What do you need? The Adafruit HUZZAH ESP8266 Breakout Board (https://www.adafruit.com/product/2471)4 NeoPixel Diffused LEDs (You only need to buy one pack, it includes 5: https://www.adafruit.com/product/1734)A Battery pack with a negative and positive wire that can be soldered onto other wires (I used one from a SnapCircuits kit I had lying around: http://www.snapcircuits.net/).2 AA BatteriesSome Breadboard wires (Like these: https://www.adafruit.com/product/153, although any ones will do)2 Breadboards (This is the one I used, however once again any will do: https://goo.gl/hkH7Gv)A soldering iron and solder A computer with a USB portA small transparent box (one that can fit about 3 breadboards together i
The Adafruit Feather nRF52 Bluefruit is our latest easy-to-use all-in-one Bluetooth Low Energy board, with a native-bluetooth chip, the nRF52832! It's our take on an 'all-in-one' Arduino-compatible + Bluetooth Low Energy with built in USB and battery charging.
Simple 3 Phase Arduino energy meter from The DIY Life: Again, with this meter I was going for simplicity. Sure, for perfectly accurate measurements you need to measure both the supply current and voltage but for this application and in the interests of keeping the energy meter simple and safe – only requiring a non-contactRead More
You can create an internet-connected smart door lock using your Raspberry Pi 3 single board computer. It can be unlocked over a WiFi connection using a smartphone and a custom app. The DIY procedure for the door lock has been explained by the Hacker House team in their YouTube video.
ArduSniffer This Instructable shows how to build a gas detector / indicator using an arduino. The finished product is USB powered and displays the amount of detected gas on a led display. In this design the reset button on the arduino is also working. This project will cost you between €25,- and €65,- depending on the quality of the parts you want to use, the links to order the parts are included in step one. Luckily, the arduino (which is the biggest investment here) can be easily reused for other projects.
