World Snow Day triples its impact

An International Ski Federation (FIS) initiative to promote snow sports among young people, of which the EBU is a partner, has inspired 435 events in 39 countries this coming Sunday (20 January) – three times the number in 2012.

The FIS announced the figures this week as winter resorts around the world make final preparations for the event, which occurs on the third Sunday in January each year.
