Social TV, mobile TV, personal clouds and home automation "redefining" the home ecosystem

The third annual Motorola Mobility Media Engagement Barometer has found that consumer hunger for social media connectivity and "anytime, anywhere" entertainment is driving the most dramatic industry convergence in the past 20 years and radically shifting the traditional TV viewing experience.
The study was conducted by independent agency Vanson Bourne with 9,000 consumers in 16 countries - the UK, France, Germany, Sweden, Russia, Turkey, US, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Australia, South Korea, Singapore, Japan and China.

Many of you who didn’t make it the Jacobs Summit and Arbitron Client Conference last week have asked me how it went. Or worse, could I give you a quick summary of the high points.
We packed our “Radio 360°” 4-hour block with nine sessions. Suffice it to say, it moved very quickly. We programmed it with a “sine wave” mentality – and sure enough, it weaved through some very diverse speakers and topics in a very fast-paced way. From hot to cold, from commercial to public, from loud to soft, from veteran to rookie.

AegisMediaSolutions, en partenariat avec 7 régies radio (IP, Lagardère, Next, NRJ Global, Radio France Publicité, Sky Régie, TF1 Publicité), dévoile son étude « La radio, booster du traffic on-line des marques ».

 

Les résultats : vers de nouvelles fonctions du media radio :

> Plus de 90% des vagues radio analysées ont un impact lisible sur les requêtes on-line,
> Une campagne radio peut générer grâce à sa seule contribution jusqu’à 1/3 du volume total de requêtes sur une marque,

 

Au-delà de la puissance des campagnes, certains éléments optimisent encore davantage l’impact de la radio :
- Avoir une activité en ligne (e-commerce, e-service) génère une contribution doublée vs moyenne globale ;
- Intégrer son adresse url dans le message radio apporte 21% de requêtes supplémentaires vs messages sans référence « www » ;
- Jouer la synergie des actions TV et radio : + 27% de requêtes vs radio seule.

 

Synthèse : la radio répond parfaitement aux nouveaux enjeux de la communication dans un monde de convergence media Relais de croissance incontestable pour les marques du e-commerce, Génératrice d’intérêt et de curiosité vis-à-vis d’une marque (dont on va rechercher des informations sur site), Source d’une relation pérenne avec le consommateur, jusqu’à la possibilité d’initier ou compléter une base CRM.
