Le potentiel de développement du media radio est plus fort que jamais. Applications, tablettes numériques, mobile, ordinateurs, RNT, DAB, online, Webradio… Autant de plateformes de développement d’audiences et d’opportunités de monétisations. La relation intime, locale, avec l’auditeur que la radio offre aux annonceurs est une valeur précieuse. Les possibilités de ciblage qu’offre la radio en ligne apporte une plus value qui manquait à la FM.Les réseaux sociaux permettent aux radios d’engager l’auditeur, d’interagir, de recevoir du contenu, d’étendre l’audience. Les annonceurs attendent des offres cross media que la radio peut concevoir, adapter, personnaliser. La combinaison Radio + Réseaux sociaux doit permettre aux radios de conquérir des part de marchés et d’ajuster l’équilibre entre part du temps media et part de marché publicitaire.

Annika Nyberg from the EBU provided in Barcelona three strong concepts that radio should think about:

Be open. That's having an open mindset, embracing open source and open standards, being open to discussion, open to criticism, breaking boundaries and embracing creativity.
Be bold. It's important to take risks, to not to worry about making mistakes. It's from failing that you learn. It's important to work with people you're not used to working with -- agree on technology, compete on content.
Be proud. Stop whining -- there's no reason to complain -- 86% / 3 hours every day. We need to get on with being proud of the job we're doing. here
