Screenr is a free web-based screencasting tool and you can login with a Twitter, Google, Facebook or Yahoo account. You can record up to 5 minutes, when you've finished you can preview your recording and then decide if you want to publish it.
Once published you can post to YouTube or you can download your video. If you don't want it to be public once it's published just download and then delete on the screenr.com website.

Well the good news is that Microsoft has recently released a new version – Expression Encoder SP2 – that contains bug fixes and stability enhancements and they’ve also dropped the time limitation.
