My Thoughts:

This article got me thinking how lucky we are to live in a generation with such great technology and still improving. There are so many new resources we can use that help our daily lives and hard tasks that are made simple with the technology we have the priveledge to use. And I am so greatful for the people who invent them. Great technology make things more accurate because of science and it helps to prevent or decrease human error. For example, in the article talking about information on patients, their body mass index screening, pain assessment, and functional outcome assessment, the update for the Physician Quality Reporting System really improves the accuracy and makes it so much better. Having accurate data is so important because if you have the wrong imformation on a patient it can endanger them or others.

My Thoughts:

This article made me happy that there are other ways to meet people's needs the way that they need them to be. Because this pool program, students who aren't very mobile can be in the water because they have floating devices and everyone is lighter in the water. It allows them to really focus on how their bodies are moving so they can apply it outside of the water. Also it allows them to build the strength that they need in their bodies. All these people that are involved in this program should feel very good about themselves.

My Thoughts:

After reading this article, it really got me thinking that I can relate to this article so much is many ways. First, I have had at least three different physical therapists, and i do remember thinking to myself, "Wow, I really hope I never have to see them again," only due to the fact that physical therapy sucks and I do not want to have to keep doing these exercises and workouts forever. But it is very true they I did learn a lot about my physical therapists, seeing them twice a week for however long I stayed at that clinic for. I especially have gotten to know my most recent physical therapist, I have a feeling him being the youngest P.T. I've had so he is easier to relate to and talk to about things. You also kind of have to get to know your physical therapist if you want to have a good experience for rehbilitation if you want to get better.
