This is a useful tool that allows you to 'embed' voice messages into QR Codes. This means that you can print up short message on paper or add them to websites for people to scan. Via Nik Peachey, Mel Riddile

As an introduction to QR codes, we wanted to show the children a variety of ways in which they can be used. As Tara wasn’t physically with us in the classroom, she recorded a podcast to connect with the children in a virtual way. Just one way we use qr codes in the classroom. Recorded on March 29, 2011 using a Flip Video camera. 
Share with Science teachers. It's got a CC BY SA licence! I haven't checked ALL the links but can scan these codes from my computer screen using my phone and QuickMark QR Reader software. Of course you could always go the 'old school' way & print it to stick on the wall! 
ThePhysicalEducator.com has created a series of Skill Posters to help your students understand and master a variety of sport skills. The posters have been enhanced with QR Codes to add extra educational value to the resource. The QR Code on the left links students to a video demonstration of the poster's skill. 'As part of their coursework, students find or generate resources that provide more current details about the information in the book. QR codes linking to the new, better info are then peppered throughout the print title - strategically placed near and around suspect/out of date information. And viola! Just like that, my out of date dinosaur of a print resource is magically transformed into an up to date, interactive book!!'
