De grafische sector in Europa blijft krimpen en Nederland is ook nog eens het slechtste jongetje van de klas. In maart daalde de grafische omzetindex in de EU met 3%, in Nederland zelfs met een kleine 7%, zo blijkt uit cijfers van Eurostat. Ten opzichte van omzetindexjaar 2010 ligt de index in Nederland nu op 85. Duitsland en België doen het met een index van 95 veel beter. Ook vloeit er veel omzet naar Oost-Europa, waar landen als Polen, Letland en Bulgarije een grafische omzetindex hebben van boven de 100.
