If you think ahead to what to say next – like how to fix it or make the person feel better – BOOM! Off the board! You’re into the future. Empathy requires staying with the energy that’s here right now. Not using any technique. Just being present. When I have really connected to this energy, it’s like I wasn’t there. I call this “watching the magic show.” In this presence, a very precious energy works through us that can heal anything, and this relieves me from my “fix-it” tendencies.

Blutgefäße, Knochenreste, Haut, Nervenfasern . . .  und nur 40 -50 % Hühnerfleisch fand Richard deShazo in Chicken Nuggets. . .  In Deutschland regeln die "Leitsätze für Fleisch- und Fleischerzeugnisse" was in verarbeiteten Fleischprodukten drin sein muss. Es sieht nicht besser aus! "Mehr Schwein als Kalb in der Kalbsleberwurst" lautet z.B. der Titel von der Verbraucherzentrale http://www.lebensmittelklarheit.de/informationen/mehr-schwein-als-kalb-der-kalbsleberwurst . . .  Von Wurst kann nur abgeraten werden. Lieber ein gutes Stück Fleisch aus artgerechter und regionaler Produktion.

Health-related buzzwords, such as 'antioxidant,' 'gluten-free' and 'whole grain,' lull consumers into thinking packaged food products labeled with those words are healthier than they actually are, according to a new research study. That "false sense of health," as well as a failure to understand the information presented in nutrition facts panels on packaged food, may be contributing to the obesity epidemic in the United States, researchers say.

Das Rennen um die Identifizierung von Inhaltsstoffen kann der Verbraucher nicht mehr gewinnen! Erstens, weil er sich im Dschungel der Ziffern nicht mehr zurechtfinden kann. Zweitens weil es zu viele Umschreibungen für Inhaltsstoffe gibt. Drittens weil die Hilfsstoffe nicht deklariert werden müssen. Aber es gibt eine Lösung :) - Frische, unverarbeitete Lebensmittel kaufen und wieder selbst Kochen und Backen!
