Evaluation Logic Model Examples

In Virginia, we have the pleasure of actually hiring new Extension agents right now!  As they begin to learn about the Extension programming model and the importance of planning for evaluations I was thinking about what resources might be helpful to them.  And although I know it makes many folks groan, nothing beats a logic model for a good introduction to program planning and evaluation!  These logic model examples are from the University of Wisconsin Extension Program Development and Evaluation group.  Examples are from 4-H, FCS and ANR so worth a look for most Extension agents/educators.

Google Analytics Tutorial: 8 Valuable Tips To Hustle With Data!

Google Analytics Tutorial: 8 Valuable Tips To Hustle With Data! | Programme evaluation | Scoop.it

Eight recommendations for unlocking the full value of Google Analytics, and strategies for doing incredible digital data analysis.

You've probably noticed that I'm a big fan of Ocams Razor - and here is another great set of instructions on getting the full potential out of Google Analytics.  Some of this applies more to retail/sales web sites but there is some good stuff to glean for Extension as well.

To begin extending your GA skills, start with his first suggestion, creating a customized dash board.  It may even heal heartbreak (according to the author Avinash Kaushik), what could be better?

DOVP Week: Aimee Sickels on the Two Minute Logic Model · AEA365

DOVP Week: Aimee Sickels on the Two Minute Logic Model · AEA365 | Programme evaluation | Scoop.it

In keeping with this weeks logic model theme... found this interesting post on the AEA website.  I love the idea of a 2 minute logic model!  I think it would make the process seem much less daunting for non-evaluators.

I'm knee deep in several developmental evaluations right now, I think I must be missing the more linear logic model approach!

What program would you use to start with a 2 minute logic model?  Seems very suited to 4-H "activities," train-the-trainer sessions, or even short workshops.
