Star Apps: John Waite

Star Apps: John Waite | PRODUCTION of Video Music clips and songs | Scoop.it
The 'Missing You' singer chats with Download.com about the new album, listening to his own music, instigating debates over social media, and the app he'd miss most, if his iPhone went missing. Read this article by Josh Rotter on CNET.
Charlie Dare's insight:

John Waite's new live album, "Live All Access," was not a planned release. But after the "Missing You" singer and former Babys and Bad English frontman discovered that he and his band's performances were so enhanced by the addition of new, hard-edge guitar player, Keri Kelli (Alice Cooper, Skid Row, and Slash), he wanted to capture it. Once Waite heard their explosive onstage synergy in the recordings, however, he knew they had to be shared with the world.

In an era of auto-tune and overdubs, "Live All Access" harkens back to a purer time when nothing came between you and your favorite music. Expect eight tracks -- a mix of classics like "Change" and recent favorite "If You Ever Get Lonely -- that are guaranteed to rock your socks off.~ Videos in story "Missing You" "Isnt it Time" THE BABYS and his latest "If you ever get lonely"

Charlie Dare's insight:

The tool allows you to import your selected image and to utilize two variable size brushes to identify with red and green colors the areas of the image that need to be cut out rather than preserved. Once done the basic stroking of the image you also have more advanced automatic tools, inside the Refine menu, to further improve the outline smoothness, aliasing and offset. You can also determine whether to leave the background transparent or to apply a specific color before saving your silhouette of hopefully a band moving around on stage..Rainbow images of Jimi Hendricks multiple images from him burning his guitar to holding above his head playing it backwards to feedback..some great new tools to expand ones imagination as a video music producer of the future ~

Lady Gaga Telephone - Searchya - Search Results Yahoo!7 Search Results | PRODUCTION of Video Music clips and songs | Scoop.it
Charlie Dare's insight:

QUEEN OF THE INTERNET. In 2010, there is arguably no greater example of an artist getting “it” right than Lady Gaga. With the clout of a label backing her serious social media savvy, she has garnered over five million Facebook fans, three million Twitter followers, and become the top-selling digital artist of 2009. With a niche-busting sound [and look] that cuts across subcultures and pushes boundaries without crossing them, and a relentless commitment to staying in touch with her fans— sometimes even tweeting from backstage at concerts— Gaga has created a devoted community that eagerly embraces her pet name for them: “little monsters.” From product partnerships with Polaroid, Estée Lauder, and MAC, to her Haus of Gaga iPhone app, Gaga’s investment in her fan community fuels the success of everything her brand touches. Proof positive: the music video for “Telephone” (co-starring Beyoncé) had been viewed over 7,000,000 times within just three days of its March 11, 2010, release. Is Lady Gaga a master of the tools and strategies of the digital age? Absolutely.

Sean Riffe's comment, March 6, 2014 9:22 AM
MTV Launched on August 1, 1981 the original purpose of the channel was to play music videos guided by television personalities known as "video jockeys" Much as radio personalities are known as "Disc Jockeys".
Sean Riffe's comment, March 6, 2014 9:25 AM
MTV being a pioneer of Music television set off a chain reaction and soon enough different channels began popping up playing different genres of music. VH1, Fuse, Kerrang! All of these began to draw a large following.
Sean Riffe's comment, March 6, 2014 9:28 AM
Now, MTV and VH1 and other music television channels don't play music often. The music has been replaced with a bunch of bullshit that has nothing to do with music. Youtube brought a new era to music videos and revived them with a channel known as VEVO. Artists from everywhere have a VEVO account on youtube, this is where they post all of their music videos for the world to see.
