I found this video really interesting because almost all of the teachers and parents agreed that it is more effective and realistic to teach children collaboratively rather than teaching them to the test and lecturing from the textbook. Students learn more through things that interest them and through collaborative learning. It is so easy for students to get lost when they are being lectured to the entire class. Students need to be active and engaged in the projects they are a part of, even if they don't know that they are actually learning. Learning should be fun!

This is such a great way to get children involved with real world issues. It was really great to see that the teachers are incorporating all subjects into one project instead of having a specified time for each subject. This way the students can use their background knowledge at all times.

Project Based Learning should be about something that students are interested in and something that the students will take active participation in. Project based learning is a reoccurring topic in the class EDCI397. I didn't have the best understanding of this concept. But this article helped me have a better understanding of what PBL is. Also after reading this article I have a better understanding of how to execute project based learning in the classroom.
