A great site out of Canada today. Wonderful for the smartboard. You can also use it for computer time and it would work well as a daily 5 listen to reading station. This is a series of animations based in a classroom. Includes videos,online books, games and activities for vocabulary building.

Le Carnaval de Québec est le plus grand carnaval d'hiver au monde! Carnival started January 27th and runs until February 12th this year. It is always a favorite winter theme.
Carnaval Québec created a series of activity books for different age groups. There are three free booklets each featuring 12 educational games. Use some of these pages to teach students about Carnival or put the whole book together as a "J'ai Fini" book for students to do when they are done other work.

FSL Homework Toolbox is another excellent website that is beneficial for parents. This website has many great resources that could help a parent of a child in French Immersion who does not speak the language.
