From this article I can infer that even the most popular and well known companies can just start of from places such as a garage. Who would have thought that Nike or Blue Ribbon Sports had been started from a trunk of a car? Though there could be many obstacles and setbacks on their way to success, through hard work the companies managed to overcome them. This shows that with perseverance and hard work one can achieve the unthinkable. I wonder what kept the people going when they were faced with obstacles.

Upon reading the article, I can see that not all successful companies had a smooth journey from the start. The few biggest corporation now like Google and Apple had many setbacks, but what makes the success today is the fact that they stood strong and overcame all the setbacks they faced. I think that behind their success is a lot of hard work and resilience that brings them to what they are today. I admires how these companies went through thick and thin in order to accomplish such achievements and wonder what is their motivation such that they did not give up.

Halloween is a time of where kid dress up as character that we want to be. But this is disturbing how people view other races. I find it very single-minded and down right disrespectful to all races

If You Know Someone Who Doesn't Believe Sexism Exists, Show Them This | June Holiday Assignment: Prejudice and Success Stories | Scoop.it
Women are often made to feel like being groped, leered at, and shouted at in the streets is normal and that they should just shut up about it. Yeah, so do you know what? That is NOT cool, and I wish something was being done about it.
Oh hold up, there is! Watch to see what happens when this woman brings together the power of social media and other women from all around the world who have finally had enough of this treatment.
