I was fortunate to teach in a private school environment which fostered the use of multiple computers (1:2) in my classroom. The SE coordinator commented that, "What the computers allowed for was an even field, students were not inimdated to reflect and rework previously constructed papers and problem solving strategies because they did not have to completely start over again, from scratch!" In the daily continuum of classroom learning I did not see it happening, but it was true that what was happening was that due to the use of technology student outcomes were inproved. If you have not considered the assistive nature of technology tools, here is a place to start. Delete the scoop?

One of the great things about using a classroom video is that it requires attention from students to increase their enjoyment of the media. Also, it is a story and as such is best told withiout interrupting with verbal questions. Here is a way to infuse the two together, asking questions while allowing the video to be watched uninterrupted.
