LeBron James Has Better Numbers Than Jordan And Kobe At 28

Who s The True King Of The NBA? Not many people accomplish what LeBron James has at the age of 28. Not even Kobe Bryant or the great Michael Jordan. LeBron James has accomplished getting two NBA championships, two back to back Finals MVPs, and two back to back regular season MVPs. That’s a pretty hard act to follow at the age of 28, right? Numbers don’t lie, but how does LeBron’s numbers compare to the likes of Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan? Pretty good actually. LeBron James has scored a total of 2,523 more points than Kobe Bryant in only 10 more games played. In addition, James has gotten 1,681 more rebounds, 1,930 more assists, 191 more blocks, and a whopping 193 more steals. Some would argue that comparing LeBron James’ numbers to Jordan’s numbers at the age of 28 is not fair because both he and Kobe Bryant went pro immediately after high school. Jordan, on the other hand, went to college and played three years at the University of North Carolina. He didn’t join the N

Minimum Wage Protests Spread Across America

Is The Minimum Wage Enough To Survive In America? On Tuesday, protesters of the fast food giant McDonald’s focused their attention on “wage theft” instead of fighting to increase the minimum wage. The organizers of minimum wage protests planned to rally outside McDonald’s at key locations such as but not limited to Boston, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Miami. They wanted the rally to address issues such as low wages and other work related violations they felt they were owed. McDonald’s said it would stay open for business despite the anti minimum wage rally that was planned to occur by the protestors. The organizers of the rally have been diligently working to gain public support to help pressure McDonald’s to increase its pay rate to $15 per hour. The organizers have even gotten the Service Employees International Union involved to provide them with financial backing to support their rallies. The union has been supportive since 2012 and has helped to launch a plethora of prot

Big Bang Theory May Be Real

Do You Believe In Science? The Big Bang theory has officially gotten its stamp of approval by physicists. You are probably thinking what does all of this have to do with me and should I be concerned? Well, it won’t change your current life or the lives of your loved ones, but there could be lot’s to like about this recent discovery. Just recently, astronomers discovered gravitational waves which are thought to have caused the rapid growth of our universe after the Big Bang occurred. So what exactly are gravitational waves? They are ripples in space that are usually generated by anything massive that moves throughout space. It is kind of like throwing a basketball into a pool and watching the ripples created from the impact of the ball hitting the water. The gravitational waves are very similar, but instead of hitting the walls of the pool, the waves in space travel at the speed of light. Astronomers have theorized that the gravitational waves were generated just after the Big Bang

Adam Silver Wants Corporate Logos On NBA Jerseys

Corporate Logos On NBA Jerseys Are Coming! There’s a new sheriff in town and his name is Adam Silver. The new NBA commissioner announced at the 2014 IMG World Congress of Sports that corporate logos on NBA jerseys will be effective within the next five years. Adam Silver mentioned how the English Premier League and International soccer has had success with placing logos on jerseys and that the NBA could experience similar success. He also stated that this move would upset some individuals, but the decision to move forward with the logos on jerseys is a done deal. Here is Adam Silver’s explanation as to why the NBA has chosen to use corporate logos on the jerseys: “It just creates that much more of an opportunity for our marketing partners to get that much closer to our fans and to our players. It gives us an opportunity just to have deeper integration when it comes to those forms of sponsorship. … Increasingly as we see Champion’s League and English Premier League televised

Guinness And Other Beer Giants Withdraw From St Patricks Day Parade

St. Patrick s Day Parade? Guinness Says No..No..No! Guinness has decided to not support the Saint Patrick’s Day parade and you will be surprised why they reached that decision. Guinness was not happy about the lesbian and gay community not being able to march at the event. The beer giant announced on Monday that the company will remove its sponsorship from the Saint Patrick’s Day parade in New York City. Stonewall Inn, the birthplace of the modern gay rights movement, refused to sell Guinness beer if the company continued to help fund and participate in the parade. Other advocates of the LGBT community such as GLAAD were very supportive of Stonewall Inn’s decision to not support Guinness. This added pressure from interest groups and the people of Stonewall Inn most likely influenced Guinness to withdraw from participating in the Saint Patrick’s Day parade. Maybe it was the right call by Guinness. After all, other beer giants such as Heineken and Sam Adams have also elected to
