This is a good article. The line that stood out was the one about "the school does not belong to me." Despite this, many administrators I deal with talk like it does and the teachers are their personal lackeys. Delete the scoop?

It begins as the article suggests with flattening the hierarchy. We no longer live in a world where one expert will solve all the problems, but in a world where collaboration, curiosity, and community fuel the conversation

The number 1 skill identified by a recent IBM GLobal CEO study is Collabroation!
Love the definition of collaborative leader, "Their job is to champion the vision, provide resources and remove roadblocks." and #12 Open boundaries while maintaining separateness. The need to collaborate with suppliers, customers, and even competitors respecting the boundaries of exisiting communities while building new cooperative communities. This is exactly what we are working on with the CPA Profession and the "big bang" of new technology - a collabroative community aimed at helping everyone figure this stuff out. Delete the scoop?

To achieve this hard task, WE as Educators need first to have the necessary knowledge (PD) and life experience, especially practice, to make OUR words believable to the students, learners! WE should show up with COMPETENCY, otherwise the learners wouldn't believe us ;)
