After watching the video on poverty in India, i understand that many factors can lead to poverty. I used to think that poverty is about the livelihood of people living in poor and unfavourable conditions. But now I have understand that poverty is not that simple. The rate of economic development in India is slow thus not many things like technology can be developed easily unlike the richer countries. Due to the high unemployment rate, children have to work to earn their daily bread. Hence, this can lead to education problems. And since there's an increase in prices like petrol and fuel, things get more expensive and unaffordable for people living in poverty. Thus, i can conclude that all the factors are interlink.

Benjamin Mok's insight:

In My Opinion, I think that it is very important for the young to learn more about the people living in the third world countries and therefore they will not take things for granted in the near future. This will help the young to understand that things these days do not come buy so easily for then. Moreover, these children who have learnt about the current situation of the poor in the third world countries can help spread awareness and tell the others more bout what they have learnt.

Yes, I agree to that the young should learn more about what is happening in the world. DEspite their poverty, when one has the dream to learn, he will work for it. Poverty shouldn't and doesn't stop you from anything!

In My own Opinion, I think that it is very important for the young to learn more about the people living in the third world countries. Therefore they will not take things for granted in the near future. This will also  help the young to understand that things these days do not come by so easily for them. Those who have learnt about the current situation of the poor in these third world countries can help spread awareness and tell the others more bout what they have learnt.
