On the Filipino national day, people working in Singapore from the Philippines celebrated the day of their nation however some Singaporeans are against it because 'they were celebrating the country’s independence on Singapore soil.' Trayvon Martin was a normal 17 year old teenager living in the US, a police officer shot him as he left a store because he was 'black' and wearing a hoodie, this is an example of stereotyping in our world! Just because he was different, just because he was 'Black' does not make him a criminal. People tend to relate others to things they are not, based on their looks. I think that this prejudiced mindset needs to be change throughout the world if we are to live together in peace.
