Oxfam claims that the richest 1% of UK wealth-holders own at least twenty-times more than the poorest 20%. That’s reasonable, but finding out what the wealthiest own is harder than you might expect.

This article highlights the one of the major reasons for income inequality: difficulties with childcare. According to newly released research, improved childcare would have a more significant effect on reducing inequality than "increases in part-time pay, encouragement to take up unclaimed benefits, and efforts to increase housing supply had less effect on inequality".
