Inspiring article by Jamie Dunn on blog of +Richard Branson Jamie Dunn says: I have sometimes the impression that people do only concentrate on presenting themselves in the networks instead of reaching out to people. They have learned to function. You can be the best marketing person in the world, but if nobody knows who you are then does it really count? Especially Twitter is a great tool for networking, maintaining relationships and creating new ones. Do you really notice people or do you only share your stuff? Twitter is like a great avenue where people meet others and there are indeed people who say hello to you because saying hello shows that we are friendly, open and interested in other people. The only problem is that not all people are open and want to say hello back. How can relationships develop when we nip them in the bud? Life seems to be a matter of course. Do we live our life with arrogance or with openness and a heart for other people? Do we try to impress with authority or with empathy? Does trust come from: or from: ?? I prefer the second option. And you?
LET PEOPLE COME INTO YOUR HEART! BE OPEN FOR OTHERS!

SHAME is the fear of disconnection. WOW . We MUST be allowed to be seen. Really seen. Vulnerability is key. The "wholehearted" walk into vulnerability. Vulnerability is NOT weakness. It is our most accurate measurement of courage. I'm not sure we can BE creative if we aren't courageous and vulnerable. Te be human is to be vulnerability. Vulnerability is the birthplace of innovation, creativity and change.

This article states that the global economy isn't as flat or interconnected as Thomas Friedman's seminal book 'The World Is Flat' might have us believe.
I say that it completely depends on the business and industry you work in. Blanket statements are dangerous territory for a company to live in and abide by.
ALWAYS evaluate any trend or strategic position against the realities of your specific circumstances.

MBAs–both the degrees and the people who have them–are an obsolete waste of time and money. An irrelevant recipe for failure. At least that’s what all the cool entrepreneurs and venture capitalists are saying. So what’s next? Learning to code and “lean startups.” Accelerators are the new b-school.
There’s just one problem though.
While creating a product and starting a company have never been easier, building and sustaining a business have never been harder. And lean is not everything. Though I don't like statements such as one "must" and companies "have to", I believe that the overall view is correct. The world's changing, business environment is changing as well. New leadership skills are required that were not taught in public schools at all but neither at business schools yet. Delete the scoop?
