The SNP has today (Monday) highlighted the contrasting records of Labour and the SNP in tackling crime in Fife.


Analysis of official figures shows that recorded Crime in Fife has fallen by 50% since 2006/7 – from 30,304 recorded crimes to 15,230 last year. The figures follow a national trend in Scotland since the SNP took office, with recorded crime across the country now at a 39-year low – but recorded crime is falling more in Fife than anywhere else in Scotland.
