As readers of my articles you are by now well acquainted with my view that Iran is currently in an expansionary stage of its development and as such its intentions to become a nuclear power and
Ken Feltman's insight:

David Murrin looks at the recent nuclear agreement with Iran and finds several reasons to be pessimistic. He's been correct on too many international issues, too often, to be ignored.

 

Here is one of his points:  "The Iranian position, that it only wants its nuclear power for peaceful purposes, is truly ludicrous when it has been enriching uranium beyond the threshold of 5% required for civilian use. It is also widely believed for some time that Iran has been developing a nuclear warhead with the support of the North Koreans."

The new, moderate face Iran is showing the world belies a sinister spike in executions in the country, with hundreds killed for such crimes as “waging war against God,” according to a human rights group.

 

At least 529 people have been put to death in Iran this year, including more than 300 since President Hassan Rouhani assumed office in August, according to the Iran Human Rights Documentation Center. Other groups estimate the number killed in Iran at more than 600 this year.
